Offering classic, natural portraiture with a modern flair, I approach portraiture with the idea that children should be photographed having fun in an environment they feel comfortable in. The results are beautiful works of art that will capture the beauty of your child’s innocence and youth.
DETAILS
Sessions are very comfortable and laid back with no rush and plenty of time to capture the best images possible. They typically last between one and two hours, but can be as short as 30 minutes so please plan your day accordingly. Sessions take place at the location of your choice–whether in your home, at a special park or urban location–I want to capture the spirit and energy of your children and family.
Your ordering appointment will be scheduled two weeks after your session at which time you will be shown the images from your session. Orders will be taken at that time so please be sure that all parties involved in the decision making process will be present. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.
A $100 minimum print order is required. Specialty items do not count towards the minimum print order amount. After the minimum print order has been made, an online gallery will be available for two weeks for friends and family members to view and make purchases as they wish. There is a $25 fee to replenish the online gallery for an additional two weeks after it has expired.
Your order will be ready in approximately four weeks,however, specialty items may take up to eight weeks. Rush orders are available for a 50% surcharge.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Depending on you and your child’s personality and style you can choose solid colors accented with fresh modern pieces, you can put together a fun and funky outfit, or you can keep it simple. The location of the session will determine what clothing is best. I find that jeans work very well and can be dressed up or down. If the session takes place in your home, I can help you choose clothing that best coordinates with your surroundings. At the time of booking, we will discuss your style and what you are looking for in order to suggest appropriate clothing.
MATERNITY SESSIONS
For maternity sessions, we recommend having the session take place two months before your due date. Bellies are just around the right size for capturing at this time.
I recommend wearing all pre-pregnancy clothing for the session. Pregnant women have beautiful curves and I want to show that off! Bring jeans that have a snug fit (we will not button or zip them, just fold them down). I also recommend bringing pretty, lacy, modern or funky tops like camisoles, tanks, lingerie, sweaters, etc. Long skirts that fit below the belly are a good alternative to jeans. If you have beautiful scarves or wraps, bring them as well. Our goal is to make the session unique to you!
