I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I will post pictures soon of our adventures, but let me just say that Angelina alone had 5 Easter Egg hunts…yes, you read correctly. Isn’t that shameful?!? And insane!?! Two at church, one at school, one at Grammie’s and one at Nana’s. Whoa. Srsly. Want to know what she did with her cool ol’ mom? Had a Bible study on what the real meaning of Easter was! After we ended reading the Bible and singing she asks, “Where is the bunny in the story momma?”. Yeah, about that bunny.
A friend of mine and fellow widow(er) posted this on his FB. I hope he doesn’t mind me reposting. It just moved me. For those of us that have lost loved ones, I’m sure it will resonate with you too.“Happy Easter! Resurrection means so much more to me today just on a physical level. To have seen a loved one die and then days later appear alive again with a changed body would be so powerful and amazing! Jesus’ resurrection means so much more – celebrate!
Wow. Makes you think about things to look forward to…like heaven.
