Jonathan Kilgore inspires me. On Saturday we ventured downtown (yes, amidst the G-Day game crowd) to take some pictures for his new album. As we strolled around, he would pick up his sax and belt out these incredible jazz songs that stirred my soul. People were stopping to stare and admire…we joked that we should have brought a hat for tips!
To quote his website: “Music has a way,” Jonathan says, “of helping, healing and uplifting broken hearts and weary spirits.” Jonathan is truly devoted to his gift and has become a young saxophone extraordinaire! Jonathan has a powerful way of sharing his heart through his saxophone and he is passionate about everyone living out their God given purpose. “Sounds from Heaven’s main objective, is to simply encourage hearts, minds, souls, and spirits,” he adds.
He and his wife, Ayanna have helped me raise my children. So not only is he an incredible musician, he’s a great father to not only his 3 biological children, but the many, many children he serves every day.
