I think I’m finally ready again…ready to brave the sugary, sappy, sweet photographic events we call WEDDINGS. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve shied away from photographing any weddings recently. Not that you could blame me, of course. I mean, like I really wanted to be at your happy, joyful wedding whilst I’m mourning my dreams that got flushed down the toilet!?! (ps-I’m a widow if you don’t know me yet…my incredible, amazing husband died tragically on 7.16.09).
What I’m trying to say is that I’m back in the game! I’ve built up enough emotional stamina…I’m excited…I’m joyful…I WANT to be there for your most important day!!! It’s time to spring forward into wedding season–”forgetting what’s behind and straining toward what is ahead I press on”…Phil.3:13 (ps-this doesn’t mean I’m trying to forget about Spencer, duh).
If you know of any brides or are one yourself, call me! I’d love to chat wedding photography with you…share what inspires me and hear all about how you and your beloved fiance met and fell in love.
For the first couple that books me after today, I’m going to do something special for you…because “I’m in the mood for love….simply because you’re near me”…(she sings, off-key I might add). First to book a wedding package gets a complimentary 8×8 Parent’s Album worth $500! (gulp!).
Spread the love…

ps-I’m also going to offer some mini-sessions starting next week to raise money for Brain Tumor Research as I’ll be participating in the Duke Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center “Angels Among Us” walk the weekend of Spencer’s would-be 31st birthday.
pss-I want to thank the brides (and grooms) who were extremely patient with me during the time Spencer got very sick and subsequently passed away. Thank you for understanding the cause of the delay. Your graciousness will surely be rewarded.
Let your light shine!
