another time

This past weekend the weather was beautiful–the sun was shining, our crazy Georgia weather decided it was going to be warm, there was a peaceful breeze blowing…perfect weather for playing at the park. My good friend Elizabeth was gracious enough to meet me at the last minute at Bishop Park. While there I ran into an old photography client whom I hadn’t seen in a while. She followed me on my other blog and knew all about Spencer (which was great because that is the worst thing…having to drop that bomb on someone…no one ever knows  what to say). Unfortunately her father just past away last week as well.:(

It made me think about the last photo shoot I had with her. We went to downtown Winterville, which is a quaint little area with a charm reminiscent of another time. She only had two children at the time (she’s since had another child). Spencer was there as my “assistant” (a.k.a.” babysitter” for our kids so that I could actually take pictures of my clients). It was a good time. In some ways it feels just like yesterday and yet so much of both of our lives have changed. In the blink of an eye…

Here are some of my fav shots from that day. Aren’t their children just beautiful? And they have awesome names too:)

Here are some shots of this weekend’s park adventure. And yes, those are LIME GREEN cowboy boots my daughter is wearing. A purchase from the GW, I might add.:)
